Responsibilities:1. Be responsible for the overall design of the motion planning software stack2. Design, implement, test, and deploy motion planning and navigation algorithms for robot manipulators3. Own the software interfaces used to communicate with various components inside the system4. Manages schedules, met and adhere to development goals.5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize, design, and implement workRequirements:1. PhD or MS with equivalent experience, in robotics-related field.2. 3+ years of experience with robotic systems software engineering3. Experience implementing, testing, and deploying motion planning in C++ and/or Python(Pytorch) on real robots and simulators4. Possess both a theoretical understanding and have practical experience with motion planning algorithms5. Capable of working independently and motivated to continualy improve best practicesPrefered Skils.1. Experience with ROS/ROS2.2. Experience with Pytorch/CUDA for scientific computing.3. Experience with using deep learning methods for motion planning and/or perception3. Experience working with distributed / asynchronous systems with multi-threaded and multi-proces architectures4. Abity to learn a new knowledge area and realize it with production-level code
