Senior Manager (OSI) (Ref: 24001R3)Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Office of Strategic Initiatives, the appointee will be part of a team supporting strategic initatives of the University, including its development as a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) as well as the setup and operation of the Secretariat of the Steering Committee on the Hong Kong Alliance of UASs. Key responsibilities include:?Coordinating communication among relevant University Schools/Offices for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives?Managing the University’s communication and engagement with key stakeholders (e.g., relevant government departments, local and overseas industry and academic partners, etc.) relating to these strategic initiatives?Fostering collaboration among stakeholders to facilitate projects and initiatives under the Office ?Overseeing and coordinating the efforts of the team in supporting the functions of the Office and?Performing other duties as assigned.CandidatesCandidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:?A recognized degree, preferably a higher degree, with substantial relevant working experience, preferably gained in a tertiary education setting?Detail-mindedness with excellent organizational skills?Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with internal and external parties at all levels?Proactiveness and devotion with strong leadership and supervisory skills ?Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in English and Chinese, including Putonghua and?Computer skills such as MS Word, MS Excel and Chinese word processing.Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.Terms and Conditions for AppointmentAn attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, a composite cash/housing allowance, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidate.
