For our X-ray business unit in Shanghai, we are looking for Detector Engineer.

Goals/Mission:
1. Develop new medical x-ray products.
2. Focus on x-ray flat panel detector development and supplier management.

Working Partners/Contacts:
1. Team work within R&D department.
2. Closely cooperation and synchronization with counterpart of headquarter.
3. Closely cooperation with image quality and detector integration engineer.

What are my responsibilities?
1. uate new FDs and detector technologies.
2. Coordinate integration of detector into medical x-ray system.
3. Specify, test and manage life cycle of FDs and image intensifier units.
4. Manage FDs suppliers.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Education:
1. Master degree or above preferred.
2. Physics, biomedical Engineering, computer science, software engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge/Languages:
1. Basic knowledge of x-ray image chain, strong knowledge of x-ray detector.
2. Advanced knowledge of medical image processing, digital image analysis or digital signal processing.
3. Proficient in trouble shooting and debugging, sense of engineering process.
4. Matlab and language (Perl, Python etc.) preferred WIFI technology preferred.
5. Quick learning skill, good communication skill and team spirit.
6. Fluent oral English and good reading/writing skill.

Experience:
1. At least 3 years experience on software development
2. At least 2 years experience on image processing/analysis or digital signal processing.
3. Team work experience is must.
4. Experience of working within international team preferred.
