Major Responsibilities:
1.Review and verify payment requests and vendor invoices with proper payment authorizations and approvals
2.Perform AP voucher posting and journal bookings into SAP system
3.Review and verify accurate entries
4.Monitor IC and 3rd party charges and follow through the process
5.Assist in Oversea payment applications through tax bureau, government authorities and banking authorities
6.Review bank reconciliation reports
7.Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings posting necessary and adequate accrual bookings and accrual reversals as per accounting standards
8.Devise and prepare analysis reports for expenses, accruals, overdues, advances, prepayments, invoices etc. for AP process controlling and for Management
9.Assist & Participate in Budgeting, Forecasting, Expense Reviews and Budget Performance Analysis.
10.Ensure local and international statutory compliance throughout the AP process. Anticipate and be prepared for internal and external audits
11.Participate in ad-hoc projects and new system implementations
12. Maintain good communication and good working relationship with other teams, other departments and headquarters to ensure smooth operations


QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelor degree or have professional trainings in accounting/finance
2.Fluent Japanese with good interpersonal communication skills basic English with good reading and writing skills
3.Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
4.5+ years’ experience in operational accounting. Medical device / manufacturing industry experience desirable but not required.
5.Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and China GAAP.
6.Experience with SAP ERP systems preferred.
7.Analytical and problem-solving orientation. Very comfortable with numbers. Fluent in desktop applications such as Microsoft Office.
8.Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Possesses an intelligent curiosity about business issues, drivers and solutions. High energy level. Must work well with others in teams.
9.Hands-on and attentive to details. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
