職位描述

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the development, localization and drawings for the assigned products. This includes mechanical conceptualizing, designing, making prototype, and launching new Chinese/Global variant products for Safety products.
崗位職責(zé)

Design
-Cooperate with the project team members to design and test products in good quality by following Dr?ger development process
-Localize variants based upon global platform products and be involved from concept to production
-Design, draft and release drawings based on Dr?ger regulations and related standard
-Perform feasibility studies and concept investigations
-Maintain necessary design tools
-Ensure quality of design output (especially regarding applicable internal and external standards) as well as quality and reliability of designed products

Technical support
-Provide comments from technical side to local and global product managers to develop concepts based upon received market information
-Modify and improve released products based on requirements from Marketing, Quality, Operations, Service, etc.
-Support manufacture by providing comments from technical side to Operations/ Quality to ensure good technical decisions
-Provide technical support to Approval team for products approval
-Provide technical training and support to Operations for serial production
-Assist Global Purchasing department to identify suppliers and key partners in China
-Support test colleagues from technical side, and design test bench for new product

Others
-Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
-Other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager
任職要求

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education and experience

3-5 years of working experience in relevant field
Experience in designing plastic & injection parts and pneumatic parts/system, as well as in ergonomics (Asian face and body)

Professional
-MS Office - expert level
-English in written and spoken – advanced level
-Knowledge of China Safety product related standards– advanced level
-Knowledge of Pro E/Creo or 3D CAD modelling packages – advanced level
-Knowledge of PLM and SAP - preferred
-Six Sigma – preferred
