ETL Developer (Intermediate to Senior Level) to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in SQL/ETL development, with expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines in a Big Data environment.Key Responsibilities:?Design and develop ETL jobs in the Hadoop ecosystem using Hive SQL, Spark, and Spark SQL.?Perform physical model design and implementation.?Work with Business Analysts (BAs) or independently to gather requirements and design data mapping logic.?Manage end-to-end ETL job releases, including development, testing, and deployment.?Participate in proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot projects in areas such as AI/LLM and NL2SQL.For Senior Candidates:?Lead ETL development projects and mentor junior team members.?Drive the adoption of best practices in ETL development and data pipeline optimization.Qualifications:?Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.?Intermediate: 3–5 years of experience in ETL development.?Senior: 5+ years of experience in ETL development.?Strong expertise in SQL (HiveSQL, Spark SQL) and data modelling.?Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Kafka).?Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Spark, or Python.?Strong analytical and communication skills.?English Proficiency: Strong reading and writing skills required.Key Skills and Competencies:?Technical Skills: HiveSQL, Spark SQL, Java, Python, Hadoop, Kafka, ELK.?Domain Knowledge: ETL development, data modelling, Big Data ecosystems.?Soft Skills: Communication, collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail.
